1. Introduction
By booking an online consultation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and
agreed to the following terms and conditions. These terms govern the consultation process and ensure a clear
understanding between the patient and the Ayurvedic practitioner.
2. Nature of Consultation
The online consultation is provided for health guidance based on Ayurvedic principles.
It does not replace in-person medical examinations, laboratory tests, or emergency care. The consultation is
advisory and focuses on lifestyle, diet, and Ayurvedic management.
3. Patient Responsibility
- The patient must provide accurate and complete medical history, including pre-existing conditions,
ongoing treatments, and any allergies.
- The patient must follow the prescribed Ayurvedic regimen, including medicines, dietary recommendations,
and lifestyle modifications.
- The patient is responsible for consulting an allopathic physician for conditions requiring emergency or
surgical intervention.
4. Limitations of Online Consultation
- Online consultation has inherent limitations and may not always substitute in-person physical
examinations.
- The Ayurvedic practitioner shall not be held liable for any adverse effects arising due to
misrepresentation of medical history or failure to adhere to recommendations.
- In case of severe or worsening symptoms, the patient must seek immediate medical attention from a
qualified healthcare provider.
5. Confidentiality and Data Protection
- All personal and medical information shared during the consultation will be kept confidential and used
only for treatment purposes.
- The data will not be shared with third parties except when required by law.
- However, due to potential online security risks, the Ayurvedic practitioner is not responsible for any
unintended data breaches.
- The patient agrees that their case details may be used for research or case studies without revealing
their personal information
- Patients must ensure secure internet connectivity to maintain the privacy of their health information
during consultations.
6. Fees and Payment
- Consultation fees must be paid in advance through the available payment modes on the website.
- Fees are non-refundable unless the consultation is cancelled by the Ayurvedic practitioner.
- Any additional services beyond the consultation may be subject to additional charges.
7. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Appointments can be rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment may not be eligible for a refund.
- In case of technical issues from either party, the consultation may be rescheduled without additional
charges.
- The Ayurvedic practitioner is not responsible for internet connectivity issues or delays from the
patient’s side, and in such cases, the fee will not be refunded.
- Refunds will only be provided in cases of genuine reasons, at the discretion of the Ayurvedic
practitioner.
8. Disclaimer
- The practitioner shall not be liable for any complications arising from non-adherence to recommendations
or the patient’s pre-existing health conditions.
- The patient acknowledges that Ayurvedic treatment is a holistic and long-term approach and may require
patience and consistency.
9. Agreement
By proceeding with the online consultation, the patient acknowledges and agrees to the above terms and
conditions. It is the patient’s responsibility to understand and adhere to these terms for an effective
consultation experience.
